Does NexGard chewable prevent heartworm, or just fleas and ticks?

Have you ever heard of NexGard chewable treats for preventing ticks and fleas? I've seen on a site that sells it said that it also prevents heartworm? What's your opinion on this and what do you think? I kinda prefer K9 Advantix and Frontline over the chewables. Thank you ^^

NexGard does not prevent heartworms but does prevent fleas and ticks. I use it on my own dogs and have been very happy with the product. Advantix or Frontline are also good products so you should use whatever you prefer.
