My dog took ETOZOX. Can he still have a seizure hours later?

my dog was limping his hind right leg i took him to the VET and vet look at him and said its a strain stress nothing more so he prescribed a pain killer name ETOZOX 90mg he told me its a pain killer so i give him one dose of it but ater i search about this on internet where i found there can be a side effect of seizure and i am very much scared of seizures as my elder dog 10 yr old died from that but to bruno its been 8 hours but no side effect found could it possible he can have seizure now?

All drugs have the potential of side effects so there is always a risk for something to happen. If used appropriately, the risk is usually minimal. I have never used Etozox for a dog so I am not sure of the risk of side effects. If your vet prescribed the medications than you could use it as prescribed, otherwise do not give it to your dog. There are plenty of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications that are specifically made for dogs (Previcox, Deramaxx, Rimadyl) so you could ask your vet to prescribe something that is commonly used in dogs.
