Hello my cat was spayed a week ago, she was spayed while in heat and recover very well. She tried to lick and chew her inscision and scratched herself near the stitches. I used 70% medical alcohol cleaned it and check her regularly. Later today when she was napping I found there are a little discharge from the inscision, and also there are a little red discharge from her vagina as well, I noticed there are some dried discharge around her her vagina couple days earlier. Are these normal?

It sounds as though your kitty is having some very normal irritation and skin healing symptoms. While keeping the skin around the incision clean and dry is very important, I would encourage the usage of a more gentle cleaner or even just a dampened towel with warm water. Sometimes medical alcohol can be too drying or irritating to the skin. Some discharge from the skin incision is normal as long as it appears clear to pink and not green or yellow. Also, if you notice a foul odor to the discharge, this could mean infection is present and it would be best to have your kitty examined in case she would benefit from an antibiotic. The vaginal discharge could also be normal, particularly because she was 'in heat' at the time of her spay procedure. Again, as long as the discharge appears clear to pink-tinged and you don't appreciate a foul odor, this can be normal. Other signs to monitor are if she is continues to eat and drink well as well as use the litter box normally.
