What to do to keep my dog healthy during a cross-country move?

My dog and I are moving 26 hours to Minnesota in June, she has received her bordetella today, and I'm trying to find way of keeping her from getting sick along the journey to our new home because we have to safe ag pet friendly hotels and stop at places for breaks. She is a chihuahua Dotson and is 3 years old. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 13 lbs

The most important thing to ensure Violet is healthy during this trip is to make sure her vaccines are up to date. Also make sure she is up to date on her flea treatments, deworming treatments, and heartworm treatments. All of this combined will protect her during the trip :-)
