My dog's normal neck mole is bleeding from scratching. Is it serious?

My dog has a white mole looking thing on her neck. My vet said it was normal. Today I noticed her scratching and when I looked at it later, it had been bleeding. Should I be worried??

It could be that Maggie scratched at the mole, which caused it to bleed. If it is irritating to her, I would recommend discussing with your vet having it removed. Even if it's normal, should she keep scratching at it and making it bleed, that can introduce infection into the area. It might be best to have it removed to keep that from happening.
