CARESHARE I have brought Potato to visit vet. It's arm got swollen. After I applied the medicine to potato, few days later, the swollen part became smaller but still reddish. The vet gave potato antibiotic, but when i feed him, he turned around and dont let me to feed. Then i used a different way, i mixed potato's food with antibiotic. This method doesnt works too. And these few days, potato's looks so weak. ( i feel ) Is it the antibiotic will cause drowsiness? Should i stop giving antibiotic?

Antibiotics ideally must be continued and usually appropriate antibiotic would not give these side effects (please write to us again to give us details about the antibiotic). Considering the signs you reported, another check up seems necessary to check the lethargy/weakness. Antibiotics may have a strange taste for Potato and that may be the reason why he is not taking them easily.
