My dog had FHO surgery, slipped, now won't bear weight. What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 18 lbs

My current foster pup had FHO surgery 2 weeks ago, tonight I heard him scream and now he won't bare any weight on it. I have my floors covered in rubber mats to make it safer for him, but I saw some water on the tile where I'm almost positive he slipped, what can I do!!

Oh no, poor Marshall! First off, do not give him any human pain medications, as many are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given. I would confine him to a crate or a small room tonight, and then have him seen by a vet first thing in the morning. Rest him as much as possible tonight.
