My dog had allergic reaction, now vomiting. Is this connected or serious?

My dog woke up yesterday face all swollen like an allergic reaction he has had before when he got a bee. We called the vet and they said give him Benadryl which we did. He woke up today and he is looking much better. But he has now started getting sick.

Poor pup! If he is vomiting today, I would recommend taking him to the vet as soon as possible - it could be an unrelated problem, but in some cases vomiting can be a sign of a dangerous allergic reaction. Since his face was swollen yesterday, I would be worried that this could be connected - if so, he really needs treatment right away. If your vet confirms that this is the problem, he/she can give an injectable steroid and may also recommend keeping your pup for IV fluids and supportive care until the reaction is under control.
