Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 8 months old | 7 lbs
my dog became a father of 5 puppies,, right now the female dog is on antibiotics because some of the nipples became infected. so the owner of the female are trying to feed them with puppy milk they bought instead of having the female dog feeding them. two of them are very small and I am afraid they wont make it, so because I have 1st choice, could I take one of the pups out of the litter and bring her home to feed her myself even though shes only 13 days?

If the vet has recommended the pups to be hand reared and never retunred to the mother then yes, the owner may be willing to allow you to take your pup early. There are always risks associated with hand rearing and there is no guarantee of success and also pups learn many of their social skills from the mother and siblings in the first 6weeks of life so you should think very carefully before removing a puppy from its litter this early
