When do Persian cats shed most, and when should I groom them?

What month/s of the year do Persian cats shed? Eg March and November. I have a 4 year old Persian cat and I would like to get her groomed just before she starts her shedding each season. Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | spayed | 4 years and 3 months old | 4 lbs

Persians shed year round, but they will shed more in spring and summer to get rid of their winter coat in preparation for the hotter weather. I would get Smooshee groomed more frequently starting in November.
