My stray cat returned sick, lethargic, sneezing, and has a neck cut. What now?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered

I kind of adopted this alley cat a couple of months ago. I fed him regularly and gave him clean water, but i havent seen him for 3 weeks. He finally came back around today and he looks very tired, he is sneezing and his eyes are barely open. I heard cats fighting last night and i looked at his neck to find a bad healing cut under his chin. He ate hard food no problem but he just seems very lethargic. What can i do for him??

Oh poor Binx! How lovely of you to look after him! He will need to see a vet right away for this badly healing cut. It may be infected, and that would make him very lethargic. The cut likely needs to be cleaned, and he will probably need antibiotics to treat any infection. Please have him seen by a vet ASAP. If you plan on keeping Binx, I would recommend having him neutered once he's feeling better. That helps reduce roaming behaviors, and may help him from getting into fights. Entire cats typically fight over territory and females, and if he no longer has the sexual desire to mate, that behavior will be reduced.
