My puppy's eye has a red spot from a cat scratch. Is it serious?

My pup was recently scratched by our cat who isnt use to the puppy, he is 3 months old and pretty good health, but he now has a red spot on his left eye from the cats scratch, Im very concerned and wondering if you knew what happened when the cat scratched him and if he is in need of serious help or not. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 22 lbs

I can certainly understand being concerned about Bruski! He is in need of immediate veterinary attention, as if the cat scratched his eye, he could now have an infection in his eye. The eye is such a delicate and important structure that any problem with it should be considered an emergency. That's because leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. I would take Bruski into the vet right away to have his eye examined and treated.
