My dog groans when lying down. Is it pain or arthritis?

My dog moans when she lays down - never used to do that before. What could it be?

If your dog is an older dog, it could be that she is suffering from arthritis and it's painful when she lays down. I would her seen by a vet in the next couple of days for this problem. It could be that she would benefit from some pain medications, which the vet can prescribe.
