My dog's neck got stuck in a gate. Can he go into shock hours later?

Our 15month old Maltese x pug got his neck stuck in a baby gate while the gate fit is neck in he couldn't pull his head out and pooed himself literally all in 10seconds it's been 2 hours seems fine but worried to go to sleep could he still go into shock? I've checked gums and eyes they look fine. Pulse is about 88-90. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 2 months old | 17 lbs

Poor Clarke! He must have been very scared! If it has been 2 hours and he seems normal than he will probably be fine. You should continue to monitor him closely for a few days and have him examined by your vet if you notice anything abnormal.
