My dog's vaccines are due. Can I give them early or two at once?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 3 months old

My dog vaccination is due corona is due on 22 Feb and distemper is due on 26 Feb so my question is can I revaccine him before due date that is today both injection or I should go on due dates only as I will be not here for week so vaccinating dog before due date does affect his any part or organ of body or interfere with previous vaccine or anything like that ? Will it be also safe to get him vaccine both corona and distemper at same time in same day ?

I would suggest to vaccinate with both of them when you are back or earlier (either on 22nd or 26th). Generally speaking it is fine to vaccinate with both the same day. No side effects with early vaccination.

This would depend on where in the vaccine course he is - if this is a yearly booster after his puppy shots then being a week early for any component would be ok. If these are his initial shots you should speak to your vet as some vaccines have strict protocols for timing of second shots (most 2-5weeks from initial injection) and being too close in such a case could reduce the risk of effective protection
