Why is my dog restless, chewing paws, and unsettled after exercise?

Our dog appears to hallucinate after going to the field for a run, throwing herself around, chewing her paws jumping on and off furniture, sudden jolts of her legs, can't settle sleep etc. Last for. Good few hours, what could this be. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | 1 year and 7 months old | 28 lbs

She could be itchy - some dogs with allergies can have itchy skin after going outside. This could also be how she reacts to being stimulated by exercise. If you think she may be itchy or if her skin looks red after going outside you could see if your veterinarian can recommend an oral or topical medication to help her feel more comfortable.
