Why does my dog attack other animals when I give them attention?

My aunt move in with me and my mom a year ago and her dog peaches I used to take care of her when she was a puppy and every time I'm near another animal or give a another animal attention she attacks them and bites them and drags them away from me what could it be and what do I need to do. It appears Peaches is very protective of you. Slowly acclimate her to one person being near you at a time. Do this in a neutral area until she is accepting before trying it indoors on her "turf". Praise and reward her as she progresses. Correct any aggressive behavior immediately. You may need the help of a certified trainer to provide one on one assistance. Pheromone products such as the Adaptil collar or DAP diffuser may also decrease aggressive behavior and anxiety.
