Hey, I'm trying to help my rat today. She started peeing blood last night and having "blood" tears. I'm cleaning eyes with animal eye drops and keeping her hydrated.. She couldn't move most of the day but she had a good appetite so started to move more. Also she was very cold bodywise. As far as I know it could be a bladder or kidney problem. She seems fine atm and I'm keeping my eye on her.

The red tears are due to the secretion of porphyrins. This typically happens during times of stress or illness. If your rat has bloody urine, you should have her examined by your veterinarian to diagnose a UTI or a more serious condition such as a bladder tumor.
