Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | spayed | 1813 years old | 7 lbs
My dog 2 year old yorkshire terrier was spayed a month ago mainly because she was suffering from ongoing phantom pregnancies. Before the operation she had already been administered 2 cycles of Dogalact but she got another phantom pregnancy just a few days after the op. She was given another cycle but got another one. We now switched to Galastop and she's on another phantom pregnancy. It starts with her not wanting to eat at all, restless nights, licking aggressively and then whining & mothering

I would expect the problem not to reoccur a month after the spay surgery, but in some cases it can take up to two month for full effect of the operation. If by then the issue happens again then I would suspect there is a problem, possibly an email topic ovarian tissue some were in the abdominal cavity that was not removed during the spay and is still secreting female hormones. If it does happen again, a blood test to measure these hormones will be the next step.
