Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | spayed | 7 years and 5 months old | 70 lbs
My german Shepard was prescribed Rimadyl for a bum leg, she had a little limp the other day and the vet thought it might go away. The problem has gotten a bit worse and she is avoiding stairs, but can stand on her own and walk around for a few minutes. I have some vet perscribed Hydrocodone for one of our other dogs. I'm unsure if giving her this while she has the Rimadyl in her system would have a conflicting effect. We have a vet appt scheduled for Wednesday to get her back in.

I would not give Charlie this hydrocodone. It's not prescribed for her and it may not be safe for her to have. Please do not give it to her, and have her seen by a vet on Wednesday where you can discuss pain medications for her.
