Oh no, that's not good! It's quite serious when a dog can't even keep down water, and it can be caused by a severe GI illness, pancreatitis, a foreign body, or eating something rotten. This requires an immediate vet visit so the cause of the vomiting can be diagnosed and treated. Please take your dog into a vet now.

Poor Rebel! She may have a GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, could have pancreatitis, or could have a foreign body causing her symptoms. When dogs are nauseous, they drool a lot and that's probably why he's drooling when he drinks water. As long as he is keeping the water down and he hasn't vomited multiple times in a short period of time, I can give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. Good luck, I hope this helps!

Poor Luke! I'm sorry he isn't feeling well. I'd definitely suggest taking him to see your veterinarian as soon as possible. He could have an intestinal obstruction or gastric dilation/Torsion causing repetitive vomiting. These are both serious issues that require emergency treatment. He could also have stomach inflammation causing these signs. He needs and examination to determine what is going on and treatment to stop the vomiting and prevent dehydration. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach and I hope Luke is feeling better soon!
