My dog is having puppies outside in a cold hole. What do I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 35 lbs

I didnt realize my dog was ready to give birth and i let her out to pee, she went in a hole she previously dug and i couldn't get her out she is now on her 2nd puppy. It is going to be 52 degrees tonight, she is in the dirt hole. What do i do?

I would set up a shelter as best you can around Lola and her puppies. It's extremely important that she and the puppies are warm, and I would try to put blankets in the hole, and covering the ground. Try to protect her and the puppies by setting up a tent over the area to protect them from the elements. In the morning, I would try to get her and the puppies out of the hole and into the home where it's warm and protected.
