My puppy has green eye gunk, won't eat. How to get vet care?

Hi! I really want to know what to do because my puppy has green bugers and her eyes are watery and she doesn't want to eat she looks really sad and I don't know what to do and I don't have money for the vet and no one can lend me money right now :(. Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Female | unspayed | 4 lbs

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do for Athena at home, she has to see a vet immediately. It sounds like she could have an eye infection, and that requires medication from the vet to treat. It's also serious she doesn't want to eat, and that could be caused by a systemic illness, infection, or inflammation. I would see if there is a low cost clinic in your area, ask your vet if they will accept payment plans, contact a local animal shelter for help, or apply for credit to afford the vet. I would see if anyone can loan you at least $10 each, and if you can get a number of family and friends to loan you that amount, you could raise enough to see a vet. She does have to see a vet ASAP, and I hope that my advice helps you find the money to afford a vet.
