My cat has diarrhea. Can I give him nitazoxanide? What's the dose?

Can I give him nitazoxanide? How would be the dosage?

Nitazoxanide is an antiparasitic used most commonly in horses, and while it can be used to treat cats with cryptosporidia-associated diarrhea, I would not use this on Felix unless prescribed a vet. I would have him seen by a vet, who can tell you if it's safe to use on him and can give you the dosage.
