Moving: Should my cat come with me or stay with the other cats?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Bombay | Male | neutered | 1 year and 10 months old

My parents and I have 3 cats. I am moving away and would like to take the youngest, whom I've had since he was a kitten, with me when I move. We already had the other two cats who were adults at the time I brought my kitty (Razor) home. Is it okay for me to take Razor with me, or would he be happier staying with the other cats?

Yes, it would be absolutely fine for you to take Razor with you! I'm sure he would be very happy to be with you, and if he does seem lonely and you can afford it, you can get him a companion in your new home :-)
