Why is my rescued dog coughing, having head tremors, weak legs, and not eating?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 44 lbs

hello i found a dog on the streets about 6 months ago in really bad shape he did recover and was extremly happy and strong...about two weeks he started to have a strong cough like something was stuck in his troat and i gave him meloxicam and levofloxacin and he started being happy again but then in 2 more days he started a wierd head movement like lifting his ears but it wont stop for hours and hours its been 4 days. and he has weak legs and wont eat to much..his a big dog like adoberman 1 1/2 y

Preeto should be examined by your veterinarian. Chest x-rays should be done to assess his heart and lungs. A heartworm test should be done to rule out heartworm disease. It is never recommended to medicate a pet without the advice of a veterinarian. Inappropriate antibiotic use can lead to resistant bacteria and may complicate the underlying condition.
