My dog has a red patch with hair loss under her eye. Bed bug bite?

Maggie has a red raised patch of skin under her left eye where the hair is gone on her cheekbone no other spots. We've been sprayed for bed bugs the last 5 months and she and her sister have stayed at the vets overnight during and after the spray. Could this be a bed bug bite? We don't have the bugs we are sprayed precautionary.

It is possible but not likely. It can be local irritation or infection from a small wound or it may be a small growth that is causing irritation. Place an e-collar (cone) on her if she is scratching or rubbing. This may be enough to allow healing. If not, have Maggie examined by your veterinarian to diagnose infection or injury.
