Is Natural Balance L.I.D. Venison dog food healthy for my dog?

Before I started rotating my dogs food she was on on natural balance L.I.D. Venison. She also had the matching venison treats. is this a good brand? The only reason I switched was beause I felt they carbohydrate content was fairly high. (Around 50%) Also it was only 20% protein which seems low. she did do really well on this and always had dark colored firm stool. Should I just put her back on this? it doesn't Contain any veggies though, is that bad? Thanks!

Natural balance is a good brand, and the carb content should be between 30-70%, so 50% is fine. As for the 20% protein, that's a good percentage as well. Dogs should be getting between 18-22% protein in their daily diet. As for not having veggies, it will have all the vitamins and minerals your dog needs, so he doesn't need additional veggies.
