My chihuahua has pneumonia. Why is his breathing worse at night?

HI my chihuahua recently got diagnosed with pneumonia and a sprained leg 2 days later his leg healed but hi's breathing seems to get worse and he's kind of panting and doesn't responded as much he was getting better in the moring but now at night it's getting worse.Plus he crys when breathing I don't know what to do

Wow, your poop pup has had a lot going on with him at a moment! I would have him seen by a vet immediately. It's quite serious that his breathing is getting worse, and he's not responding to much. I'm not sure what medications he is on at the moment, but he may need additional medications to help his breathing. Please take him into a vet immediately.
