Why is my dog suddenly barking, growling, and lunging at strangers?

My dog is start to act wierd. He has random moments were he starts to bark at people for no reason. Even if they have been there is for a while. Its like he don't recognize anyone and starts to bark and growl and occasionally lung but he won't do it to myself or my nephew.
