My dog has pneumonia and trouble breathing at night. Should I wait?

HI follow up to my other question my dog has Pneumonia and the vet gave him medicine for it but know at night hes breathing the same and doesn't want to go to sleep(kind of scared to go to sleep) and also want to sleep with me and stares at me a lot the vet said give him the medicine and wait 3 days to check up again but I don't know if I should wait? Also wanted to say he has all his shots and not allergic to the medicine

If your pup is having a lot of trouble breathing and you are concerned he is in respiratory distress, then I would have him seen by a vet as soon as possible. It's always fine to have your dog checked out by a vet if you are very concerned. Otherwise, I'd wait the three days and see if he improves before taking him back into the vet. I hope he feels better soon!
