Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 4 months and 21 days old | 4 lbs
Hi! My kitten has been eating a grain free dry food for a couple months now, as well as Sheba wet food. The wet food seems to be making Afro's stomach hurt from time to time. Some days his poop will be extra smelly and caramel colored, instead of the normal chocolate color. He recently had medication for tapeworms as well. What are some good wet foods to consider that might settle better with his stomach?

Great question! Sheba isn't a very high quality cat food, so I'm not surprised Afro has been getting diarrhea from it. I recommend giving him Royal Canin, Hill's Science diet, Purina ProPlan, or Iams wet food. Those are excellent brands of wet cat food that may settle better with his stomach. If you do decide to switch to one of those, be sure to make the switch slowly to avoid any additional stomach upset. Mix the old and the new food together, and over a week, slowly increase the amount of new food and decrease the amount of old food until Afro is eating the new food only.
