My puppy has sores on her upper lip by her canine. What's the cause?

My 11 week old has a sore on each side of her upper lip by her canine what is causing that

It is difficult to say what might be causing the sores without seeing what they look like and where exactly they are located, but one possibility might be that the lower teeth are cutting into the upper lip due to the teeth being misaligned (malocclusion).     Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sorry to see that Nova is having a problem. Those areas appear to be some type of ulceration of the lip areas. Hard to say what has caused this. Possibilities include infection/viral, trauma, inflammation, toxin or environmental exposure, nutritional problem, etc. If these areas persist or cause problems such as pain, decreased appetite, itching, or if they worsen I would advise having your veterinarian examine Nova. Your vet can examine her and come up with a sound treatment plan to get these areas to heal. Good luck with Nova and I hope these areas resolve soon.
