My dog's neck is bleeding. What can I safely put on it to stop it?

What ointment can I use to stop the bleeding on his skin on his neck?

I don't recommend using any ointment on Enzo's neck. Although quite safe on superficial wounds, dogs lick and ingest most of the topical ointment you apply and therefore should be used only under direct veterinary supervision and if there are no other appropriate options. Many human ointments contain multiple other ingredients which are not necessarily safe to be swallowed. In addition, ointment will not stop the bleeding. If gentle pressure isn't working to stop the bleeding, then Enzo will need to see the vet immediately.
