Why does my dog's poop and slobber smell like bleach? Is it normal?

My dogs slobber and poop has a slight smell of bleach off it just wondering what the cause might be as it's quite sickening when you get close to it. Pet's info: Dog | Bulldog | Male | neutered | 1 year and 8 months old | 54 lbs

If George has not got diarrhoea and the feces have normal consistency and colour and content, the problem might be dietary related. I would suggest to try to give him a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice for a week time and see if there is any change. There are eventually diseases related to ammonia/bleach smell (one of these is renal failure), and a blood test could help ruling them out, but they are unlikely.
