My dog is sick with flu and dirty. Can I safely give her a bath?

Hi. Elizabeth has been vomitting pile and not eating or drinking. She is getting pale and thinner. The vet lastnight auscultated her pulse said she has flu so he prescribed 3 shots of antibiotic IM to be given in 6 days one shot was giving at the clinic. Since then she started to stare at her water bowl and drink some sips of water for 1/2 hr after vomiting. She also urinated at the clinic and got dirty. I want to shower her but I'm afraid that is gonna worsen her condition. What do you suggest?

I'm sorry Elizabeth is so ill. It would be fine to bathe her, which would be the better option. Make sure the water is lukewarm, and be sure to use only a dog shampoo. Dry her thoroughly after her bath.
