Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Bulldog | Female | unspayed | 9 years and 3 months old | 70 lbs

I have a 9 1/2 yr. Olde English bulldog who has not been spayed. I noticed today when she went pee, that it looks like "something is falling out".it is the size of a ping pong ball, and the same shape ,would this be her uterus? What can I do???

Oh no, poor Ella! It does sound like she has a vaginal prolapse. I would have her seen be vet right away. If the tissue is left out too long, blood supply could be cut off leading to death of the tissue and/or the tissue could become infected. I would take Ella into an ER vet or find a vet on call to see her now.
