My dog is 11 months old and hasnt had any shots. Is it best to get the dog shots or should i just go about getting both puppy and dog shots atbher age?

There isn't any difference between the shots a dog gets as a puppy and as an adult. I would have Ruby taken into the vet as soon as possible to get her first series of shots, which should include rabies, parvo, distemper, hepatitis, and parainfluenza. She will then need a booster of these shots four weeks later to incur immunity.

Puppy vaccination protocol is performed to avoid the interaction with immunity coming from the mother. You can vaccinate him once as every other normal dog. Vaccinations will be against Distemper, Adenovirus, Leptospira, Herpesvirus, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza virus and Rabies. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.
