My dog started throwing up blood today an he his on meds. What could be making him throw up blood. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 85 lbs

Poor Max! Throwing up blood is always concerning - this could be caused by a number of things, including a bleeding stomach ulcer, severe gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, a foreign body in the stomach, a systemic bleeding disorder, or even stomach cancer. This symptoms is always very serious and warrants an immediate vet visit, so I would recommend taking Max to the vet right away for an exam. He/she can do blood work and x-rays if needed to help determine the problem and get him started on appropriate treatment.
