Hello, My vet recently prescribed Cerenia in tablet form for my cat, Penny. She's had bad episodes of hypersalivation during car rides and in preparation for our next trip, the vet suggests giving her this medication, I am wondering if this is a safe product or if injectable cerenia is more reliable? I've read that hypersalivation is a side effect and I do not want to deal with that problem, unnecessarily, if it can be helped. Would you agree with her advice?

Side effects in Cerenia are rare, and it is safe to give Penny the tablet form. The injectable form is typically reserved for animals who are vomiting so much they cannot keep down a tablet. I would agree with your vet's advice :-)
