Why is my dog eating moss and twigs all of a sudden? Is it safe?

Why has Amy started to eat moss and twiggs out of the blue

I'm assuming Amy is a dog. Dogs will eat things like this when they are feeling nauseous, aren't getting enough to eat, or have a nutritional deficiency. Given that this is a new behavior, I would be suspicious that she is feeling nauseous, but she should have a heath check done by a vet to be sure. I would be careful about her eating those things, as moss can cause GI irritation and twigs can cause an obstruction and trauma to her GI tract.
