My dog's paw is swollen after I removed a string. What should I do?

my dog got a string wrapped around her paw and its now swollen. she is not limping or in any discomfort and i have removed the string. will she be okay

Poor Hazzie! I would keep an eye on the swelling, and give her an Epson salt bath soaking her paw for five minutes to see if that helps. If the swelling doesn't go down, or her paw changes color (i.e. dark red), then I would have her seen by a vet right away.
