My new rescue puppy has a runny nose, sneezing, and fleas. What now?

Hello doctor, I have stray mixed breed pup,i bought him home today frm the streets.. He is abt 1 month old.. His nose is so runny and he is sneezing also what can i do for his cold n can i give him any medicine?? N also he has flees what cn i do to clean the flees from him? Please do answer me doctor... Thank you

Coco should be examined by a veterinarian to diagnose and treat possible respiratory infection. He may need antibiotics. Do not medicate him without the advice of your veterinarian. You can bathe him in warm water and a few drops of dish soap. This will kill or slow most of the fleas. Afterwards, use a fine toothed comb to remove dead or dying fleas. Dry Coco thoroughly to prevent chill. At 4 weeks, he may still need bottle feeding. Use an appropriate puppy milk replacer such as Esbilac or PetLac. You can soak some puppy food in the milk replacer to create a "soup" and see if he will eat that as well.
