Is it normal for a 10-week-old puppy to struggle standing for long?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

My samoyed puppy cant stand at his own feet for a long time. He is 10 weeks old, is this because he is still a puppy and his bones are weak or is this a health problem?

I would be concerned that this is a health problem, and Bilbo should see a vet for this. It's not normal that a 10 week old puppy cannot stand on his own feet for a long time. At this age, he should be running around, playing, and able to stand for a while. I recommend having a health check done on him by a vet as well as x-rays to identify why he cannot stand on his own feet for a long time. Once a cause is found, the vet can discuss treatment options with you.
