Our 7 year old terrier mix has had ring worm on her back , sides and stomach for a couple of months. Her vet treated her with 10 laser treatments and b12 shots and tablets. They got better, but have now come back. We have been treating her with athletes foot spray and bathing her in an antibacterial shampoo. We wash her bedding each time we bathe her. What do you suggest ? We want our baby to be rid of this mess !!

You will also need to disinfect the house because ringworm spores can live up to 18 months in the home and be a continually source of infection. I will attach a link to a website that details how to do this. In addition, make sure that any other animals in the house are treated for it as well. I would have Snookie seen by the vet again. Athlete's foot spray will not treat ringworm, as ringworm is caused by a different fungus. She will need a specific anti fungal treatment to cure it, such as an ointment that contains miconazole. http://www.livestrong.com/article/49666-rid-home-ringworm/
