Hi. My bitch has become more clingy/affectionate, eating less, sleeping more and seems to have put on a little bit of weight and her belly is more rounded and warmer than usual. Is this something to worry about. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 4 years old | 12 lbs

It sounds like Lola could be pregnant! I would take her into the vet in the next day or two for an exam. The vet can do blood tests, an ultrasound, and possibly x-rays to confirm that she is pregnant and can give you an approximate due date. If she is far along enough, the vet can do x-rays and tell you about how many puppies she is carrying. Having her seen by the vet is best, as it will confirm a pregnancy or not.
