Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 12 lbs
6 year old male small breed mix dog with meningitis. Blind in one eye, can't eat, stiff neck, loss of balance and control over legs. Heavy breathing and foam vomit. MRI confirmed meningitis. What are his chances of survival and living a normal life? Is the CFS tap necessary?

Meningitis is a very serious illness, and unfortunately, the prognosis isn't always good. It's important is to have aggressive treatment for it in order to maximize Dash's chances for survival. Yes, he does need the CFS tap, it's one of the most important diagnostic tests. I really hope that Dash survives, he is in my thoughts :-(
