Dog with CHF is bloated, constipated. Should I give a stool softener?

My dog has congestive heart failure. She is doing girly well with medication but recently started to get a little bloated again. She is having trouble defecating. Wondering is she could be constipated? Maybe she needs some stool softener?

It is likely she has fluid build up due to the heart disease and may need her medication adjusting. Please have her assessed by your vet, they may wish to do an ultrasound to check for fluid and or bowel issues
