My puppy ate a cleaning sponge. Is it dangerous? What to do?

My 3 months German Shepherd ate a piece of scotch bright polish pad (just like a bread piece size made with sponge and ss wool). what to do?

This is pretty big, it might cause problems either in the stomach if it stays there or in the intestines (blockage). You will need to monitor him for vomiting? Constipation and lack of appetite, if you see any of these symptoms- take him to the vet ASAP.

    It depends what was the size of the sponge. Very small piece of sponge should pass through but a bigger chunk may get stuck and cause obstruction in the bowel. The safest thing to do will be making Milo sick, so he will vomit up the sponge. You can contact your day vets or your local emergency service and they will be able to offer you an appointment. If you don't want to do that, you just need to monitor your dog at home for 24-48 hrs. If he starts vomiting, being off food and lethargic, you will have to take him to the vets right away.
