My puppy has milky mucus when peeing. Is it a UTI? What to do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 11 days old | 15 lbs

I recently purchased a female pit bull. at 6weeks old. I dewormed her and gave her first Vaccinations. She is 9 weeks old now and when she urinates I have noticed a clear or milky mucus hanging there. What is the cause of this and most importantly what should I do

It sounds like Lexie could have a UTI. I would take her into the vet first thing tomorrow morning for an exam, blood tests, and urinalysis. The vet can diagnose a UTI, and can give her treatment for it.
